I was browsing various friend’s blogrolls, and I cannot tell you how much I adore this blog. It’s called Young House Love, and its about a couple who renovated their house. On the blog, they share before and after pics, the story of their wedding and his proposal (both are adorable!) and I’m just oohing and awwwing over everything. Happy New Year! 2010 is going to be such an exciting year, I can feel it in the biting cold air already. I’ve been catching up on all of the blogs I love, figuring out what I want to do differently with Create H, and reading books, design books, blogging books and more to find the ultimate ideas and great ways to freshen up the blog. Here’s whats to come, or my “resolutions”…

Here’s the not so interesting information, ie. Buttons, info and technical stuff: I’ll be adding a few sections {About me, about CreateH}, as well as some ads from Etsy artists and sponsors, a new button for RSS readers and a contact me form via plugin…Now for the good stuff.
In February I will also be turning CreateH into a .com blog and it will have it’s very own domain name soon! Get excited:) CreateH will also be getting it’s very own logo!
In terms of writing and content, CreateH will feature more
*product reviews
*interviews of local Rochester artists and etsy shop owners and fellow blog owners:)
*Reader Questions
*Polls
*Competitions & Giveaways
*How to’s
*More photography
*Etsy features
*List posts, i.e. 20 great Armchairs

And the big announcement for ‘10 is that CreateH will start to feature Event and Wedding Planning posts, dedicated to all of the above, except geared towards Weddings/Events. I’m so excited to share with all of you what I’ve been researching!!

I’ll be celebrating and ringing in 2010 excited and happy for all of the progress of 2009, but really looking forward to the New Year, as I’m sure everyone else will be too! Hope you all have a great holiday, and I can’t wait to see you in 2010, with new posts;)

Hi Everyone!
In addition to blogging everyday, sharing all of the pictures of my recent projects and inspirations, I’ve been a very busy bee. I’ve applied and been accepted to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, which I start in less than 3 weeks, online. I’m super excited. I’ve also been nominated and won some awards, had a few articles published about CreateH and am constantly working towards success in my personal life as well as my career. I wanted to share all of these great moments with you, as well as having the highest number of daily views on CreateH last week! Super happy for these little moments. But in December, I’ve had a lot of recognition for CreateH and I wanted to share that with you all, because you help make it possible, with all of your support and of course, reading. To those of you who follow me on Twitter or Facebook as well, thank you. I appreciate the kind words of wisdom, support and love and wish you the best of luck in 2010! I can’t wait to see what it brings CreateH and myself, especially with how fantastic 2009 has been to me.

I have just come home from a long blizzard drive from a gorgeous, toasty warm log cabin. I want to invite you to join me while I share with you all of the gorgeous pictures of this home. I chose the paint colors to coordinate with the flooring, granite, wood and furniture & bedding. The house is amazing, but check out that SHOWER!! Amazing, right? I’d love to just curl up next to that fireplace, or make a pot of soup in the kitchen, or read a book on the landing. Just a beautiful, cozy home, and now that it’s finished, I just had to share the after photos with you!

i’M in love with this sink console from Lowes, the wall color and the floor, this is my dream bathroom! dark wood and modern fixtures..mhmmm

The most amazing shower i’ve ever seen. EVER. I can’t even believe this is for real.

The gorgeous kitchen, which we chose a deep orange for so that it would blend, enhancing the counters and floor and not taking away from the wood in the home.
